The Matthew 1:23 Confusion (Matt. 1:23, Matt 1:25, Isaiah 7:10-14 and Isaiah 8:3) (Video Only Teaching)
Shalom brethren, as many of you may or may not know I have investigated Aramaic Primacy of the New Testament a year ago and really found the Aramaic to be critical in understanding your greek new testaments.
A question has been coming to my attention a great deal recently suggesting to use the name Immanuel instead of Yeshua. I found many problems with this ideal of saying "Immanuel" instead of Yeshua. So what I attempted to do in this video is clear up any confusion that could be rendered from Matthew 1:23-25 on the Drash level by looking at the Hebrew and Aramaic not only in those verses but also in Isaiah 7:10-14, and Isaiah 8:3 to get proper context of what was meant in Matthew 1:23. I pray this helps if you have been confused by a lone wolf out there telling yo to use the name Immanuel instead of Yeshua, and I pray this helps in terms of understanding why it is written Yeshua or Yahshua or Yahoshua or any derivation there of and not Immanuel. This is not in audio format so if you are an iTunes subscriber the video will not be downloaded into your iTunes but you can manually download the video. Or simply stream the video.
