Christopher discusses the Torah Portion Pinchas through the words of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. This lesson is a continuation of this week's Shadows of the Messiah lesson in sorts, on how Christopher shows how the words of Rebbe Nachman in his commentary on Pinchas relates to Messiah Yeshua. And the theology within the New Testament.
This week, the discussion is about the parallels of Pinchas to Elijah and the various theories in Judaism on this premise and how it relates to Yeshua. Also how Yeshua is the everlasting priest according to these parallels and the book of Hebrews. Also discussed are some of the issues many Messianics come across in this parshat when they reject Torah She Be'al Peh. Also the discussion gets into textual anomalies within the Scripture and various other subjects as well.
Christopher discusses how we honor G-d through the Torah and Mashiach through humility and how the story of B'lim and Balak should be a warning to the Messianic Jewish faith and the Hebrew Roots in how we act in our fulfillment of commandments and through how we relate to others.
(No mp3 version of this teaching because the video shows key elements that would be confusing to a person only listening to the audio)
In this teaching Christopher shows the parallels of Sanhedrin 98a and Psalm 72:5 in the Hebrew reveal the attributes and the name of the Messiah and how studying Talmud is complex and not for the beginner. But the mature individual can see the secrets it possesses in the Messianic Jewish faith. Christopher goes step by step, using the script from the Talmud and the Hebrew of Psalms to show this amazing revelation found in Jewish thought.
These teachings are by Christopher Fredrickson and air on several Christian radio stations as well as Yeshiva Radio. In Brutal Planet, Christopher discusses the ties of the New Testament with Rabbinic Judaism.
