Making Mistakes with the Yetzer Hara and Yetzer HaTov

In this week's Torah Portion teaching Rabbi Banah discusses how one turns their yetzer hara (inclination of evil) into yetzer hatov (the inclination of good). He discusses how are mess ups and mistakes are ultimately from Hashem for the good. But it is all dependent upon how we look at situations and react that determine if we got the Message from Hashem, and if we turn it into chochmah and da'as.

Why So Much Disagreement?

Too often in the Messianic faith, Notzri Judaism, the Hebrew Roots etc difference in halakha or observance is seen as something that should bring division. Each person thinks they represent "the true faith" of Yeshua, yet the fact is even at Sinai we see this ideal of diversity and disagreement and diversity and disagreement is a foundation of Judaism and is not something that brings division in Jewish circle. The division aspect comes from various issues with one's yetzer hara and egotism. This is shown not only in this torah portion and the commentaries of the sages and rabbis but in various places in the New Testament
